What would you do if your pet was ever involved in an accident? Would you panic, because you don’t know where all of their information is? Or would you approach the situation calmly? Regardless of what emergency you find yourself or your pet in, proper preparation can always help to make the experience much less stressful.
1. Prepare for the unexpected – We always hope that our pets will remain safe and sound no matter what. Unfortunately, this isn’t always the case. You’ll need to prepare your pet just as you would prepare yourself for an emergency. – Keep at least 3 days worth of food and water in airtight containers. – Keep a first aid kit for your pet. – Ensure that your pet has all of the proper collar ID tags. – Keep a harness, leash, or pet carrier with you in your emergency kit.
2. Know where the nearest emergency Vet is located – If your pet should become injured, you’ll want (and need) to know where you can take them for emergency care. Have the vet’s contact information readily available at all times.
3. Keep your pet’s papers handy – Whether you have a dog, cat, or even horse, having their papers, vaccination records, and medical records handy will facilitate any emergency care that your pet may need.
4. Set your pet up as an Orggit user – Each Orggit account allows you to add up to 10 users to the account. To ensure that your pet’s information is always readily available, simply add them as one of these ten users for safe, secure document storage. Additionally, your pet can receive an Orggit In Case of Emergency (ICE) card that will allow you to access their medical records quickly in the case of an emergency.
Jonathan works on a product that is used as an online document storage solution, called Orggit, which safely and securely stores all of your most important information online so you can access it whenever you need it.

I have started my new pup (11 wks.old) on Holistic Pet Nutrition and reward him with snacks of peas, baby carrots and sparringly some cottage cheese in his dry dog food. So far no bad diarrhea. But I can’t find a list of Holistic only Vets because most Vet care is Allopathic medicine.
