Alcon Q2 Profit Up 15%; Boosts FY10 Outlook
Eye care company Alcon Inc. said its second quarter profit rose 15.1% from last year, as sales increased 11.3% driven by continued market share gains in most major product categories, balanced contributions from all geographic regions and generally improved market conditions.
